Documentaries

One genre of film that I haven’t spent any time really talking about on the blogs or discussion boards is the documentary. As much as I love dumb comedies and violence/action in the movies I watch, I also love to watch documentaries. You can learn so much about different topics by watching these. One documentary show that I enjoy is Gangland which, as the name suggests, is all about different gangs. The show gets into details about how the gangs operate and the activities that the gang is involved with.

I also love documentaries about historical events. I’ve seen different documentaries on the Civil War, World War II, and even Lewis and Clark expedition. Normally I don’t like sitting through class (who does), however watching a documentary is a fun way for me to take in a lot of information. I’ve never really had trouble paying attention watching these. Another interesting one that I watched last year was called “Super Size Me” which opened my eyes to what we are eating at fast-food. As interesting as it was I still eat fast-food all the time ha.
